For over a year now I have been daydreaming about having all matching, whimsical decorations in my classroom. Last year I started looking at cactus and succulent decorations and have always liked the whimsical feel of twinkle lights (which I have all around my room). So I decided to stop daydreaming and just go ahead and make what I have been dreaming about. I came up with a whole set of a little bit rustic, a little bit glam classroom decor.

Once I got started I couldn’t stop. I knew I needed banner letters as well as schedule cards, but it just wasn’t complete without bathroom passes, job cards, a target sign and of course a few blanks. Hmmm… As I write this I am realizing I will probably need supply tags. Maybe that will be my next creation! The fun part is that by having so many matching components I can now mix in a few other things and make it super fun and unique. I hope other teachers like it as much as I do and I cannot wait to see how you style it in your own way. I’d love to see photos in the comments!
